I hate all of this waiting… but we have to wait until a week from this coming Friday for johnny’s check to fix the what will be the baby’s room, he gets his yearly bonus then which will be anywhere from $1200 - $3000 (no less than $1200 and thats after taxes). So even if he gets the minimum that will give us the $350 for the next adoption meeting, and then plenty of money to replace the bathroom linoleum. Were also going to replace the carpet in the hall and the “baby’s” room with 1 solid piece of linoleum it will look like wood flooring but obviously wont be… it kind of lame but this carpet is screwed thanks to Chiquita, that little Son Of a Biscuit eater has pee’d and pooped in here I don’t know how many times and I am seriously sick of it especially with a baby around I just don’t need that, and its disgusting. I figure linoleum is cheap and since we have to hire a guy to do it whats a few feet more everything here is tiny any way… I will just buy 2 runner rugs for the hall and a nice plushy one for the baby’s room… that should be fine.
I am so looking forward to taking all of the stuff out of here and re-painting and making this into an official nursery, plus like 6 months ago in San Francisco’s i bought a hello kitty dresser that was marked to 50% off for our baby girl once we finally got into the process etc… I haven’t even opened it because I want it to be just perfect for her… heck I have had the same crib for 4 years now and its never been out of the box… I want to get it all out and see it all. Its so exciting but I know I have to be patient and the time will come to get everything ready really we haven’t even began the adoption process yet, the first few meetings bit none that contribute to the $1,500 its going to cost… but after next week we will be scheduling that meeting and also getting the flooring replaced and anything else we want to have done before we have our home study… I know you don’t have to go all out but I figure that we should get things we want done now because once there is a baby around it wont be so easy, and if everything is all done then we can just enjoy our new little one and not have to worry about getting all these things done.

We have went to the first 2 adoption meetings and next is the intake meeting. I am so excited! There is still the home study and a few other things, i cant wait to get past all that so we can start looking for our baby! I am kind of hoping for a twins, maybe… we will see
